My Creative Process
The core of my research is based on Hybrid Metaphotography, a technique I devised to transcend traditional image boundaries. It arises from the encounter between photography and artificial intelligence, between what is real and what is generated. In this liminal space, the work does not document, but evokes - mixing visual traces of the world with fragments of inner visions.
Each work begins with an authentic photographic shot, often constructed with maniacal care in light, composition, and human or symbolic presence. Then, through the selective use of generative algorithms, the image opens up to new narrative and aesthetic possibilities, transforming itself into something that does not exist in reality, but suggests, contradicts or sublimates it.
The process develops in layers: the real becomes raw material, the unreal a poetic extension. The two dimensions dialogue, mingle, and amplify, creating works in which identity, emotion, and perception are continually challenged.
Every detail, every imperfection, every color choice is the result of a conscious construction, guided by an expressive need and an intimate vision. My goal is not to represent, but to transform: to offer the viewer an emotional mirror, a visual experience that questions, reveals and sometimes disorients.
