The Exhibition

After nine months on the streets of Northern Italy, David Golzio's Hybrid Metaphotography crosses a border that was never just geographic. In June 2026, the same artworks appear on billboards and urban screens across Finland, Spain, Romania, and the United Kingdom.

This isn't translation. An image that raises questions in Helsinki doesn't ask the same thing in Bucharest, or in London: the context shifts, the viewer shifts, and with them, the meaning of what stays visually identical shifts too.

Four countries, four languages, four distinct visual traditions — and a single body of work that moves between them without losing its tension. This is where Hybrid Metaphotography reveals its deepest nature: it belongs to no single place, but to anyone who stops to look.

The Artist — David Golzio

David Golzio is a photographer and contemporary artist, and the creator of a technique he calls Hybrid Metaphotography: a fusion of photography and artificial intelligence that suspends the image between what actually happened and what could have happened.

His work was featured in Exibart's 2024 list "222 Emerging Artists Worth Investing In," and has appeared in international exhibition contexts — from Bali to NFT NYC 2025, from Milan to major European cities.

Works such as "6+1 Ricordi" and "Lotta interiore" also exist as physical editions certified by Cinello DAW®, a further bridge between the work's digital dimension and its material presence.

The Gallery — Artcrush Gallery

Artcrush Gallery specializes in exhibiting contemporary digital art in public urban spaces — billboards, large-scale screens, illuminated installations. An exhibition model that democratizes access to art and carries artists' work beyond traditional gallery circuits.

The collaboration with David Golzio began in December 2025 with the first exhibitions across Northern Italy, and expanded quickly through 2026: Brussels in March, the UK, Finland, and Portugal in May, then Finland, Spain, Romania, and the UK in June. Starting in July, the project goes fully international, with installations running in nine countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

The June stop cements the artist's presence in the Northern European and Mediterranean markets, opening the door to Eastern Europe for the first time.

Partnership active since December 2025. Countries reached: 14 countries, 4 continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, North America). Exhibition format: billboards, urban screens, digital public art.
