A couple photoshoot isn't about posing. It's about the way two people have learned to stand close.
The first thing I almost always hear before a session is some version of the same worry: "we're not good at posing," "we feel awkward in front of a camera." It's a fair concern, and I get it — being photographed by a stranger while you're in love isn't natural for anyone, at first.
That's why my work starts before the camera comes out: understanding how you two are together, where you feel comfortable, what actually makes you laugh. The staged poses stay in the first five minutes, just to break the ice. The rest of the time I spend walking alongside you, waiting for the way you naturally are together to take over from that initial awkwardness.
I'm based in Bollate and work across Milan and Lombardy, with packages built around different moments in a relationship: from engagement to a special announcement, all the way to seasonal, themed sessions. Every couple shows up with a different moment to tell, and the session is built around that — not the other way around.

Some places work better for a candid, spontaneous session; others for a more cinematic mood. Here's where I bring couples most often, and which type of session I'd recommend for each.
The Navigli Canals
Warm golden-hour light, reflections on the water, a romantic mood that never feels staged. Perfect for a walk that turns into a photoshoot almost by accident.

Idroscalo
Less touristy, more relaxed: water, open grass, the feeling of leaving Milan without actually leaving. Great for couples who want something informal, almost like a day trip.

Parco Nord
One of the largest parks in the greater Milan area, spacious and never too crowded, with a different backdrop every hundred feet: woods, open lawns, a small lake. Great if you want more time and more room to breathe.

Skyscrapers, glass, modern geometry: a completely different backdrop from greenery or water. The result here feels more editorial than classically romantic — perfect if that's your style.

My studio is in Bollate, but most sessions happen within a radius covering Milan and its province. If you already have a specific spot in mind — maybe one of the ones suggested above — I'm happy to shoot there; otherwise, we'll find the right balance between distance and atmosphere together. For farther towns or sessions outside Lombardy, any travel fee is always stated clearly in the quote, before anything is confirmed.

I live and work in Bollate, just outside Milan. I've been photographing couples since 2016: engagements, anniversaries, proposals, or simply the wish to hold onto a moment that matters. If I've learned one thing, session after session, it's this: the right moment isn't staged, it's waited for. And that's what I try to do, every time.

Most couples show up tense in front of the lens, and that's completely normal. I always start with simple shots to warm up, then let the awkwardness melt away on its own — it always does, usually within the first ten minutes.
Locations chosen together
A place that means something to you — where you met, a park you go to often — is worth more than a random Instagram-worthy backdrop. I also have a list of spots across Milan and Lombardy if you'd rather leave it to me.
Hand-finished editing
Every photo is corrected individually, not run through one filter applied to the whole session. Light, color, and detail are balanced shot by shot, for a result that feels natural, not mass-processed.

This is where the gear changes: I bring in professional lighting, included in the session. For those who don't want to feel like they're in a photoshoot
The exact opposite of Cinematic: no lighting rigs, no set design, just the two of you in the places you actually live your life. A coffee downtown, your kitchen, the couch where you spend your evenings. It's the right package if the idea of "posing" makes you uncomfortable — this one captures the normal rhythm of your relationship, it doesn't reinvent it.

A pregnancy, a marriage proposal, moving into your first place together, adopting a pet: every big milestone deserves a session built around it, not a standard package. We plan together how and where to capture the moment, staying discreet if it's meant to be a surprise. How long does the session last?
Anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the package. For more elaborate projects, with multiple locations or moments throughout the day, we can arrange a longer session together.
Can we choose the location ourselves?
Yes, and it's actually the best way to start: a place that means something to you adds emotional value to the photos. If you'd rather leave it to me, I also have a list of locations across Milan and Lombardy based on the mood you're going for.
How should we prepare for the session?
Pick outfits you feel comfortable in and that actually represent you, and try to avoid loud logos or patterns that "shout" in the photos. A professional makeup artist isn't necessary unless you want one — the main thing is showing up relaxed.
When will we receive the photos?
The private link with all your selected, edited images is ready within a maximum of 10 days after the session, in multiple resolutions ready to download and share.
What if we feel awkward or shy in front of the camera?
It's the most common worry, and it almost always fades within the first ten minutes. I start with simple shots to help you get used to my being there, then let your normal way of being a couple take over.

Do you shoot outside of Milan?
