Milan, April 9, 2026

Works of hybrid metafotography by the emerging Milanese artist David Golzio were displayed from December 2025 to April 2026 on large digital screens at numerous strategic locations throughout Northern Italy. In March 2026, the project—carried out in collaboration with Artcrush Gallery—expanded to Brussels.

This urban exhibition initiative integrated Golzio’s work into the daily fabric of the city, offering a direct engagement with a broad and diverse audience outside traditional institutional circuits.

David Golzio's Hybrid Metaphotography

Hybrid Metaphotography is a technique conceived and developed by David Golzio that integrates traditional photography and artificial intelligence to produce unique images, suspended between real documentation and the realm of the imagination. Through this artistic language, Golzio explores central themes of the contemporary world, such as identity, memory, fragility, and perceptual transformation.

The extended exhibition on large screens represents a significant step for an emerging artist: it brings artistic practices that intersect photography and new technologies directly into the international public sphere, expanding the context of engagement and the potential for recognition of his work.

Statement by the emerging artist

“Seeing the works of Hybrid Metaphotography blend into the daily rhythm of cities—from the boulevards of Milan to the stations of Brussels—was a revelatory experience. This project demonstrates how emerging contemporary art can extend its dialogue beyond institutional settings, reaching new audiences in the flow of urban life.” – David Golzio
