Hybrid Metaphotography in the capital of Europe
Artcrush Gallery — Hybrid Metaphotography by David Golzio on billboards and urban screens in Brussels. March 2026, Brussels (Belgium), 7 locations. Exhibition concluded.
The exhibition
In March 2026, David Golzio's work steps outside the traditional gallery space to inhabit the streets, stations, and neighborhoods of Brussels — Europe's capital, a crossroads of cultures, and a city where public art has always played a central role in the urban fabric.
Seven locations spread across the city's liveliest, most frequented areas: from Gare du Midi — one of Belgium's busiest railway stations — to the neighborhoods of Louise, Porte de Namur, Mérode, Evere, Herrmann-Debroux, and Auderghem. Each screen carries a fragment of Hybrid Metaphotography that interrupts the daily rhythm of passersby who never expected to stop and look at a work of art.
The exhibition is part of David Golzio's ongoing collaboration with Artcrush Gallery, which since December 2025 has brought his work to billboards and urban screens across Italy, Belgium, and the rest of Europe. Following stops in the United Kingdom, Finland, Portugal, Spain, and Romania, the project went international in July 2026, with active installations across nine countries spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.
"The passerby doesn't choose to look. Yet the image finds them anyway — and to me, that's the most honest form of exposure there is." David Golzio
